We are so proud to announce that this year the World’s Biggest Garage Sale has been nominated for not one, but two Banksia Sustainability Awards.
Our team are so excited to be finalists in the following categories:
Established more than 30 years ago, the Banksia Sustainability Awards are the first and foremost sustainability awards in Australia. The awards recognise individuals, communities, businesses and government for innovation and excellence in environmental and social stewardship.

The awards are a new way of recognising Australia’s sustainable excellence under the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of global goals to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and protect the planet and something World’s Biggest Garage Sale are strongly aligned with – check out our To Do List. We were so proud to highlight our work furthering the SDGs in Australia, in particular SDG17 Partnership for the Goals through our partnership with Officeworks.
